of which if you read the books, he along with his sidekicks have actually skipped their seventh year of Hogwarts leaving Ginny (Bonnie) along with others to suffer under the Death Eaters.

I am finally able to get on! Well alot of things have happened and I guess I should keep up so that you can know what is going on. Well for six days I have been sick with a cold and a horrible bad cough, and second I am a nanny. Which explains the reasons why I am sick. I am also a volunteer helper in Kindergarden age group, well helping for centers, and I have been writing once more again.

Sorry its been awhile, since I last wrote on this blog. Well I have finished college, well the first semester.
I might finish the rest, online but I am not so sure. Well I cannot believe, that I am twenty. I am growing
up fast, and I can see that I have changed. I am trying, my best to control my emotions, along with keeping my depression down. College was a stress, and I have spent many weeks, in constant pain. Two days of what I can remember, was that I had a nervous breakdown, a friend of mine, had came in good aid, calling my dad in talking to me. It helps having, a person that has the same thing, that I do. It's sad but its, a bit of a relief. Also I had fun somewhat at the dance, I even held hands with one of, my male friends. We walked to the temple and back, but then suddenly he ignored me for the rest of the dance. Which at first, I was confused and hurt. But then I see that I don't really have feelings, that could go to romance. I had that, same thing happen to me. Well in a different circumstance, before but it had ended, and I learned now not, to tell who you are in love with, or that person could take that person away from you. Anyway on a special note, Vocal Point is coming back, along with the Pageant and even the YPMs, it should be an eventful year. Next year I am going to ENGLAND!

Beautiful Nauvoo

Those who don't like living in Nauvoo, honestly doesn't know the true meaning of Nauvoo. Of course a job is limited but the beauty and the spirit of Nauvoo is alot more stronger than any town there is, maybe because the Saints spirits' are here still. Maybe because they're love for this town has never died. Even though some of them probably had died, they're love never died. You have to completely understand, taste and feel to love a town like Nauvoo. If you hate Nauvoo then you honestly can't see the beauty, taste the love that is around, overpowered feeling of love and joy in Nauvoo. For Joseph Smith's spirit is still here, among other Saints's spirits who still resides here, even their faith and testimony in Christ as well. I love Nauvoo with all my heart, despite my loneliness and the lack of men here to date, I still love my town.

I know that I am different then others. There are things that I can't do and there are things that I say that I sometimes make a mistake. I am very much human. Indeed I am a human, but when my heart is broken. I would want any person to hold me and comfort me. I am sorry if I make people uneasy. I try not to make others feel uneasy around me. I'm just a person that loves the happiness around her, I love to give hugs and I love receiving hugs. Is that a crime? If you ever had seen a person that needed love...what would you do? I feel like my mission in life is to make sure that people's life is not horrid but is a heaven. We all have our trails. Life is a test and surely God is there. Sometimes I wonder why I am put to the test. But I will soon understand. If I am faithful. God will show me why. I love the gospel so much. Despite I may not understand what dad tells me. I respect him. I just hope that people could do that in return too. I know that there are others that respect me. I try not to be a pill. I just need a friend. Being a friend can save someone's life. I know that is a fact. I love everyone. I love meeting people. I guess that is what makes people uneasy. I wish that I can tell how I feel. But I can't. I try but it is pretty difficult. I hope that people can come to understand me.

Vocal Point had made a big difference in my life, I had looked forward to see them each year. This year there were new members in Vocal Point. Grant Zubriskie (he's married), McKay Crockett (he's not married), Keith Evans (he's not married), Mike Lemon (he's not married) and the orginals from last year Paul Bodily (he's not married), Ariel Johnson (he's married), Scott Sackett (had just gotten married over the summer), Ben Henry (he's married). The two guys that did not return but one as a techical director was that JJ Haines did not return but Buck Mangum had returned as a technical director. It was very exciting to see them both. They totally had lightened my day.

I Got My Wisdom Teeth Pulled

Today I had my wisdom teeth pulled.

It had hurt like heck.

But I guess I survived.

Today I also had seen the sxith movie of Harry Potter. It was way better than the
movie The Transformers "Revenge of the Fallen" of which I dare say that it wasn't
such a good idea but at least I can say I did two things at once.

I thank the Lord for what he has done for me.

If it hadn't been for God saving me so many miraculous times.

I wouldn't be here. So thank you Lord for being there for me.

Getting my wisdom teeth pulled did not hurt me until the numbness stopped.

When I had awoke I did not know where I was and what had happened to me.

I also had a panic attack then had fallen back to sleep which the nurse had to frighten me to wakeup.

This day was certainaly the day for trails and how to go around them.

Once Upon A Time With Four Boys And One Girl.....

On Monday, the young single adults were going to Burlington so we could all play bowling (which I suck 100% at bowling) and well I had quite the experience. I was the only girl on the way and from Burlington. We even went to Culvers of which a girl had given me a strange look when she had seen me with four boys (with no other girls) which you could tell I felt very shy...and when someone gives you that look it feels like you commited a crime if they give you that strange look when they realize you were the only girl with four TALL boys. But other than that I had fun.

And my mom and dad had asked me if I had felt special because of being the only girl with four boys and of course I said yes. IT was quite the experience and I will ALWAYS remember it forever.

Michael Smith who plays King Follett in the Nauvoo Pageant was in a Sunday Sociable "Our Story Goes On" of which he is the best and the nicest of guys that I had ever had seen with my eyes. I have never met him but I had my picture taken with him and he's GOOD LOOKING TOO just like the Vocal Point guys!

Scott Sackett can do a SUPER high pitch voice and it is super duper amazing to hear him (and all of them!!!!) they were the best high light of Nauvoo (and very good looking) and of which I hope to see them more often!!

My Good News

Last Night was one of the best nights of my life! (AHH!) I was chosen of all the girls in the theater to be picked to go on stage while Buck sings Grace Kelly! He really does have a good voice (He really does) and oh you just never know, my heart was fluttering the whole entire time and I had such a huge grin on my face. Buck is a adorable guy I love him! Not to scare him but I really do think that he is alot more handsomer then all the guys I had a crush on throughout the years of my life. Although the group together is very good looking, I had singled him out because for some reason he attracts to me for some reason and because of that I had seen him in a picture of a whole new light. He served in Spain! Can't you believe that? I had always loved Spain, and that is one of my favorite countries besides England, Scotland and Ireland. Anyways when I was on the stage they guys had sang to me including him! It was fun and I had a very good time and really to say I had comepletely enjoyed it! I can still remember them dancing around throwing handkerchiefs at me (not like that but just to be funny and nice) and dancing around me. I truly felt loved. Buck and the guys really know how to steal a woman's heart by their singing and I tell you it works!

Why I love Vocal Point..........

As you may as well know that Vocal Point is one of the most talented men that you ever would see in your life. They are very respectable men (five are single and are avaible...) but not just that five of them are available but they are truly God's army in someway. Through their singing and their talents they show the pure love of Christ in many ways, eight of them have served missions but one Eric Sackett who would be serving a mission soon. They are truly what you call God Fearing Men because they love the savior so much and they truly show it in all of their actions. They are clean inside and out of what they do with their shows. They are not disturbable like some guys in other bands but they truly love their fans and they don't just favor one fan but they favor all of their fans. I think that through Vocal Point that it would truly lead to help thousands, millions, billions and trillions of baptisms throughout the world. If you haven't ever seen them before then here is your chance to get to know VOCAL POINT!

Things have been weird lately so I haven't had the chance to come on my orginal blog to tell you the news of the late and so I am sorry for that.

Well I am having fun well sort of being in Singles.

Of course being in Singles can be fun but it does have its limitations sometimes. But other than that I am doing great!

Plus before Chrismtas I am GRADUATED!

But I have heard some dreadful news and here it is; Robert Knox, 18 years old was killed near a pub in England. Robert was stabbed to death by a person who used a knife. Robert was protecting his brother Jamie who was seventeen years old.

Robert was lately shown on King Arthurthen just recently before his death Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince.

Knox's death was the 28th murder in England this year and the 14th in London alone.

This shows you what dangerous people can do especially when your two teenage children are alone. Please be aware of your children's awareabouts and please don't ever let them walk alone!

April 26th 2008, On a beautiful Saturday; It was prom! Of which in the morning the guys had suprised us girls with breakfast, then for lunch, the activiity was the guys had to go on a scavenger hunt all over town to look for the clues that us girls as their dates had put everywhere in town. Of which when they had came to the Steens house, we had little girls blindfold our dates so they wouldn't know who was talking.

Then the girls (us) led our dates to the Glasses, of which was a very funny sight to see. So when that was over, all of us got ready for prom, After a promenade and the fancy catered dinner that Sister Menke had served us, we had all went to the temple grounds to get our picture taken. It was marvelous, and especially we had alot of fun in doing it. So when it came to the dance, I had truly felt like Cinderella!!!!

Prom was alot of fun, and it was a huge blast!

I am so glad that I had one night of happiness!

About My Favorite Pianist

As all of you may as well know that my favorite pianist is Derek Wieland, of which he is a very talented piano player. That's why school is so important that you can become famous as this guy! Well anyways this person graduated from Jillard college, one of the most best music colleges but, also one of the hardest colleges to get into if you are not that well good at music. Derek plays mostly classical music but he had lately joined the TSO (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and turned the classic music into ROCK'N'ROLL. Angus Clark is one of the best guitarist ever, he is a songwriter, a singer, and he plays his guitar.
Angus Clark is the member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, he plays the guitar with among his friends that are too guitarist. On Friday at 5:00 was the most exciting thing that happened that the Orchestra had peformed! Angus Clark was the most moveable one in the band!

I Lost Five Pounds! So Far!

Thanks to my loving brothers! I have decided to put myself to the test....that is going on a diet which is not all that easy as it seems, as you may as well know going on diets was hard for me and wasn't my specialty but then I had told myself "Mary you're gonna have to loose weight it won't be good for the heart in your condition and if you want a boyfriend then hey loosing weight will get you there" I have quit sugar and wheat for good! Goodbye to Sugar and Wheat and hello to freedom!

The Vacation Was Great!

It was something to remember and I could not hardly believe that the summer is already almost over and

that means school is starting (drats) but at least I only have one school year left. But the wedding was good.

So was the food at Ruby Tuesday. I got two blue wine glasses (Sarahtoga water) and gosh it was so spendid.

And spending time with the family was terrific! I missed my family for so long. I dreaded going back home.

Knowing I would anywhere eventually but I just didn't want to do it.

I just can't believe my ears that that Lisa is already married.
